Description

Jalapeno Cheddar Beer Bread is a savory and flavorful quick bread that’s easy to make with just a few simple ingredients. The addition of jalapeno peppers and shredded cheddar cheese creates a delightful spicy-and-cheesy bread that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon baking powder

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/4 cup diced fresh jalapeno peppers (or to taste)

– 12 ounces (1 bottle) of beer

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. – In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. – Pour in the melted butter and stir until just combined.

4. – Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced jalapeno peppers.

5. – Slowly pour in the beer and stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Do not overmix.

6. – Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

7. – Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

8. – Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

– For a milder flavor, use fewer jalapenos.

– Experiment with different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or Monterey jack.

– Serve the bread warm with butter, honey, or your favorite dipping sauce.
