Description

These Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls are a delectable and easy-to-make appetizer that combines the creamy, spicy flavor of jalapeño poppers with the flaky, buttery texture of crescent roll dough. Perfect for parties, game day, or any occasion when you need a crowd-pleasing finger food.

Ingredients

– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 4 ounces diced jalapeños, drained and patted dry

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well combined.

3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place a heaping tablespoon of the jalapeño popper filling onto the wide end of each triangle.

4. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Place the filled crescent rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier filling, add an extra tablespoon of diced jalapeños. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as pepper jack or Monterey Jack. These crescent rolls are best served fresh out of the oven, but they can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
