Description

Satisfy your cravings for crispy, indulgent onion rings with this keto-friendly version. These low-carb Keto Onion Rings are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making them a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

– 1 large onion, sliced into 1/2-inch rings

– 1 cup almond flour

– 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 2 large eggs, beaten

– Avocado oil or other high-heat oil, for frying

Instructions

1. – In a shallow bowl, combine the almond flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

2. – Dip the onion rings in the beaten eggs, then coat them in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to help the breading adhere.

3. – In a large skillet, heat 1/2 inch of avocado oil over medium-high heat.

4. – Working in batches, fry the breaded onion rings for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

5. – Transfer the fried onion rings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

6. – Serve the Keto Onion Rings warm, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

– For extra crispy onion rings, let the breaded rings sit for 10-15 minutes before frying to help the coating set.

– Experiment with different seasoning blends to customize the flavor.

– Store leftover onion rings in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 400°F oven for 5-7 minutes to recrisp.
