Ingredients
– 2 pounds chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated
– 1/2 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
– 2 green onions, thinly sliced
– 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway, until crispy and cooked through.
6. Transfer the wings to a serving platter and sprinkle with the sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for 2-3 minutes after baking. Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang to the sauce. These wings also make a great main dish when served with rice and vegetables.
