Description

Lavender Honey Panna Cotta is a light, creamy, and fragrant no-bake dessert that’s ready in just 5 minutes. This elegant and easy-to-make treat features a silky custard infused with the floral notes of lavender and the sweetness of honey.

Ingredients

– 2 cups heavy cream

– 1 cup whole milk

– 3 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling

– 2 teaspoons dried lavender

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 packet (about 2 1/4 teaspoons) unflavored gelatin

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, 3 tablespoons of honey, and the dried lavender. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until the mixture starts to steam and bubble around the edges, about 5 minutes.

2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the lavender steep for 15 minutes.

3. Sprinkle the gelatin over the mixture and whisk until the gelatin is fully dissolved, about 2 minutes.

4. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the lavender pieces.

5. Divide the panna cotta mixture evenly among 6 ramekins or small glasses. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

6. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the ramekins and invert the panna cottas onto plates. Drizzle with additional honey.

Notes

For a stronger lavender flavor, use 1 tablespoon of dried lavender. You can also try garnishing the panna cottas with fresh lavender sprigs or edible flowers.
