Description

Indulge in a comforting and decadent Lobster Mac & Cheese Melt that’s ready in just 20 minutes. Creamy, cheesy, and bursting with tender chunks of lobster, this dish is a true treat for the senses.

Ingredients

– 1 pound elbow macaroni

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 cups whole milk

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

– 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and bubbling.

4. Gradually whisk in the milk and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

5. Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the cheddar and Gruyère cheeses until melted and smooth.

6. Add the cooked macaroni and lobster meat to the cheese sauce, and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra richness, you can add a splash of heavy cream to the cheese sauce. Experiment with different cheese blends to find your perfect flavor combination.
