Description
Recreate the famous Longhorn Steakhouse Brussels sprouts at home with this quick and easy recipe! Tender, caramelized Brussels sprouts are tossed in a rich, buttery garlic sauce and finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and crispy bacon bits for an irresistible side dish.
Ingredients
– 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
1. – Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half lengthwise.
2. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
3. – Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sprouts are tender and lightly caramelized.
4. – Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the sprouts and toss to coat.
5. – Remove from heat and sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top.
6. – Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a tablespoon of brown sugar or honey to the balsamic glaze. Shredded Parmesan cheese also makes a delicious addition.
