Description

Marrow Chutney is a vibrant and flavorful Indian condiment made with fresh vegetables and aromatic spices. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for adding a delicious punch of flavor to your meals.


Ingredients

– 2 cups chopped marrow

– 1 onion, finely chopped

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

– 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

– 1 teaspoon coriander powder

– 1 teaspoon red chili powder

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 2 tablespoons oil

– 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro


Instructions

1. – Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

2. – Add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and let them crackle.

3. – Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

4. – Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

5. – Add the chopped marrow, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt.

6. – Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the marrow is tender and the chutney thickens.

7. – Stir in the chopped cilantro and remove from heat.

8. – Serve hot with your favorite Indian flatbreads or as a condiment.

Notes

– For a spicier chutney, add more chili powder.

– This chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
