Ingredients
– 3 pounds Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1 cup whole milk
– 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
– 1 cup sour cream
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

3. Scoop the mashed potatoes into individual serving bowls or glasses. Top each portion with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of chopped chives.
4. Serve immediately and enjoy your Mashed Potato Sundae!
Notes
For extra richness, you can add a drizzle of melted butter or cheese sauce over the top of the sundae. You can also experiment with different topping combinations, such as caramelized onions, diced tomatoes, or sliced scallions.
