Ingredients
– 2 cups whole milk
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 2 tablespoons matcha powder
– 3 large ripe bananas, sliced
– 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
– 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, and matcha powder. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, whisking frequently, until the sugar has dissolved and the matcha is fully incorporated, about 5 minutes.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the instant pudding mix until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
3. Fold in the sliced bananas and transfer the mixture to a serving bowl or individual ramekins.
4. Refrigerate the Matcha Banana Pudding for at least 2 hours, or until completely set.
5. Top the chilled pudding with freshly whipped cream just before serving.
Notes
