Description

Enjoy the fresh, Mediterranean flavors of this delicious baked white fish dish. Tender, flaky white fish is seasoned with garlic, herbs, and lemon, then baked to perfection for a quick and healthy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

– 4 white fish fillets (such as cod, halibut, or tilapia)

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1 teaspoon dried basil

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and black pepper.

3. Place the white fish fillets in a baking dish and brush or drizzle the seasoned olive oil mixture over the top, making sure to coat the fish evenly.

4. Bake the fish for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.

5. Serve the Mediterranean Baked White Fish immediately, garnished with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

– For extra flavor, you can add sliced lemon, cherry tomatoes, or chopped olives to the baking dish.

– This recipe works well with a variety of white fish, such as cod, halibut, tilapia, or sea bass.

– Store any leftover fish in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
