Description

Indulge in the velvety, caramelized goodness of Melting Sweet Potatoes – a comforting and flavorful side dish that’s perfect for family meals or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

– 3 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes

– 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

– 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

– 1/4 tsp ground cloves

– 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. – In a large bowl, toss the cubed sweet potatoes with the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt until well coated.

3. – Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

4. – Roast for 35-40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.

5. – Serve hot and enjoy the melty, sweet, and comforting flavors.

Notes

For even more caramelization, broil the potatoes for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. You can also add a sprinkle of chopped pecans or a drizzle of maple syrup for extra flavor.
