Ingredients
– 2 cups mixed nuts (such as almonds, pecans, and walnuts)
– 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon butter, melted
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and sugar. Toss to coat the nuts evenly.
3. Drizzle the melted butter over the nut mixture and stir until the nuts are fully coated.
4. Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, stirring halfway, until the nuts are fragrant and lightly toasted.
6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the nuts with salt. Toss to combine.
