Description

Tangy and flavorful Mustard Pickled Eggs – an easy make-ahead appetizer or snack that’s perfect for parties and gatherings. Hard-boiled eggs are pickled in a simple brine of white vinegar, mustard, sugar, and salt, creating a delicious, restaurant-quality treat.

Ingredients

– 12 large hard-boiled eggs

– 2 cups white vinegar

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1/4 cup white sugar

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 cup fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Place the hard-boiled eggs in a clean, wide-mouth jar or container.

2. In a small saucepan, combine the white vinegar, Dijon mustard, white sugar, and salt. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring until the sugar and salt are fully dissolved.

3. Pour the hot pickling brine over the hard-boiled eggs, making sure they are fully submerged.

4. Seal the jar or container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, or up to 1 week.

5. When ready to serve, remove the pickled eggs from the brine and garnish with fresh dill sprigs.

Notes

For best texture and flavor, let the eggs pickle for at least 24 hours. The longer they pickle, the more intense the flavor will be. These Mustard Pickled Eggs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
