Ingredients

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 3 large eggs

– 1 cup light brown sugar, packed

– 1 cup light corn syrup

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 2 cups chopped pecans


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. – In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, flour, granulated sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix until a dough forms.

3. – Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.

4. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until well combined.

5. – Stir in the chopped pecans.

6. – Pour the pecan mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.

8. – Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
