Ingredients

– 8 slices of bread

– 8 slices of mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup pepperoni, sliced

– 1/2 cup tomato sauce


Instructions

1. – Spread the tomato sauce evenly on 4 slices of bread.

2. – Top each sauced slice with 2 slices of mozzarella cheese and a layer of pepperoni.

3. – Place the remaining 4 bread slices on top to create 4 sandwich halves.

4. – Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden-brown and the cheese is melted.

5. – Sprinkle the top of each sandwich with the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Notes
