Ingredients
– 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch wedges
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon sea salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. 2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with the olive oil, salt, and pepper (and cinnamon, if using) until well coated.
3. 3. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a large baking sheet, making sure they’re not overcrowded.
4. 4. Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through, until they’re tender and lightly browned on the edges.
5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispy potatoes, try tossing them in a small amount of cornstarch or arrowroot powder before roasting. You can also experiment with different seasonings, such as smoked paprika, garlic powder, or a pinch of cayenne.
