Ingredients

– 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 2 tsp ground cumin

– 2 tsp paprika

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp black pepper

– 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

– 1/4 tsp ground cloves

– 1/4 tsp ground cardamom

– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

– Juice of 1 lemon

– Chopped parsley, for garnish

– Pita bread, for serving


Instructions

1. 1. In a small bowl, combine the cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and cayenne (if using).

2. 2. Place the chicken thighs in a slow cooker and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.

3. 3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is very tender.
