Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 3/4 cup warm milk

– 1 egg
– 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
– 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup powdered sugar
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/4 cup chopped pistachios for topping
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
2. Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.
3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
5. In a small bowl, mix the chopped pistachios and cinnamon.
6. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a 12×8-inch rectangle.
7. Sprinkle the pistachio-cinnamon mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
8. Tightly roll up the dough, starting from the long side, and slice into 8 equal pieces.
9. Place the rolls in a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
