Ingredients

– 3 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1/2 cup maple syrup

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large pot, cover the sweet potato cubes with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until tender. Drain and mash the sweet potatoes.

3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

4. Add the mashed sweet potatoes to the butter-maple mixture and stir until well combined.
