Description

Spicy Bayou Deviled Eggs are a flavorful and easy-to-make appetizer that’s perfect for any occasion. These deviled eggs are loaded with Cajun seasoning, giving them a delicious kick of heat and bold flavor.


Ingredients

– 12 hard-boiled eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, plus more for dusting

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. – Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

2. – Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl.

3. – Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, and paprika to the yolks. Mash and stir until well combined and creamy.

4. – Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

5. – Lightly dust the filled eggs with additional Cajun seasoning.

6. – Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra heat, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the yolk mixture. You can also garnish the deviled eggs with chopped green onions, chives, or a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
