Spicy Dragon Chicken is a quick and easy recipe that delivers bold, irresistible flavors. Tender chicken is coated in a savory and spicy sauce, making it the perfect weeknight meal or entertaining dish.
Ingredients
– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
– 1 tablespoon brown sugar
– 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 2 scallions, thinly sliced
– 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, combine the chicken, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Toss to coat the chicken and let marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 8-10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the sliced scallions.
4. Serve the Spicy Dragon Chicken immediately, garnished with the toasted sesame seeds.
Notes
For a milder version, use less chili garlic sauce. To add more veggies, stir in some sliced bell peppers or snap peas during the last few minutes of cooking.
