Description

Spicy Gochujang Eggs are a delightful, flavor-packed breakfast that comes together in just 5 minutes. The perfect blend of heat and umami from the gochujang sauce makes these eggs utterly irresistible.

Ingredients

– 4 large eggs

– 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 green onion, thinly sliced

– 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang and soy sauce until well combined.

2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Crack the eggs directly into the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

3. Drizzle the gochujang sauce over the eggs and gently tilt the pan to coat the eggs evenly.

4. Garnish the spicy gochujang eggs with the sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled to serve a crowd. For a milder version, start with 1 tablespoon of gochujang and adjust to taste. The spicy gochujang eggs also pair beautifully with steamed rice or a simple salad.
