Ingredients

– 1 pound sushi-grade tuna, finely chopped

– 2 tablespoons white miso paste

– 1 tablespoon sriracha

– 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

– 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds, plus more for garnish

– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

– 1 teaspoon grated ginger

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 24 wonton wrappers

– Chopped green onions, for garnish


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped tuna, miso paste, sriracha, sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and salt. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin.

3. Gently press the wonton wrappers into the muffin cups, creating small cups.

4. Bake the wonton cups for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.

5. Remove the wonton cups from the oven and let cool slightly.

6. Spoon the tuna mixture into the wonton cups, dividing it evenly.

7. Garnish the Spicy Tuna Sesame Miso Cones with additional sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier texture, you can mix in a tablespoon of mayonnaise to the tuna mixture. The wonton cups can be made in advance and filled just before serving. Store any leftover tuna mixture in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
