Description

Indulge in the irresistible fusion of sushi and burrito with this Spicy Tuna Sushi Burrito. Packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients like sushi-grade tuna, creamy avocado, and crunchy veggies, this handheld delight is a quick and satisfying meal or snack.


Ingredients

– 8 oz sushi-grade tuna, diced

– 1 avocado, sliced

– 1 cucumber, julienned

– 1 carrot, julienned

– 4 sheets nori (sushi seaweed)

– 2 tbsp spicy mayo (or sriracha)

– 1 tbsp rice vinegar

– 1 tsp sesame oil

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix the diced tuna with the spicy mayo, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Lay a nori sheet on a clean surface. Spread 1/4 of the tuna mixture in a line down the center of the nori sheet.

3. Top the tuna with slices of avocado, julienned cucumber, and julienned carrot.

4. Carefully roll the nori sheet around the fillings, tucking and rolling tightly to create a burrito shape.

5. Repeat with the remaining nori sheets and fillings.

6. Serve the Spicy Tuna Sushi Burritos immediately, or wrap in parchment paper for a portable on-the-go meal.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a drizzle of eel sauce or sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds on top. You can also customize the fillings to your liking, such as adding sliced green onions or a sprinkle of furikake.
