Description

These sticky honey mustard chicken wings are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that’s perfect for game days, parties, or anytime you need a tasty finger food. The wings are baked to crispy perfection and then tossed in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce.

Ingredients

– 2 pounds chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/4 cup honey

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.

3. Add the olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and toss the wings to coat them evenly.

4. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Bake the wings for 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they’re crispy and cooked through.

6. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is heated through and well combined, about 2-3 minutes.

7. Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl and pour the honey mustard sauce over them. Toss the wings to coat them evenly in the sauce.

8. Garnish the sticky honey mustard chicken wings with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for 2-3 minutes after baking. This will help the sauce caramelize and create a delicious, sticky glaze. You can also use different types of mustard, such as Dijon or honey mustard, to adjust the flavor profile to your liking.
