Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of sweet strawberries and warm cinnamon in these homemade Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls – the perfect start to your day!

Ingredients

– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup warm milk

– 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

3. Add the yeast mixture and softened butter to the flour mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

5. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle.

6. Spread the melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle with the diced strawberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.

8. Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise for 30 minutes.

9. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier texture, you can add a cream cheese frosting on top of the warm rolls. Alternatively, you can use other berries like blueberries or raspberries for a different flavor.
