Ingredients
– 1 cup tequila
– 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup light corn syrup
– 1 teaspoon edible luster dust or disco dust
Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, combine the tequila and gelatin. Let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
2. Add the sugar and corn syrup and heat over medium, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the luster dust or disco dust until evenly distributed.
4. Quickly pour the mixture into silicone gummy bear or wand molds, filling them to the top.
5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely set.
6. Gently remove the gummy wands from the molds and enjoy!
Notes
Store the gummy wands in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. The luster dust or disco dust will give the gummies a shimmering, iridescent appearance.
