Ingredients
– 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
– 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Mix until well blended.
3. Stir in the drained diced tomatoes with green chiles, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
4. Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish or oven-safe serving dish.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped cilantro or parsley.
7. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or your favorite dippers.
Notes
For a thicker, creamier dip, use 8 ounces of cream cheese instead of 16 ounces. You can also add 1/2 cup of sour cream to the mixture for an extra creamy texture. If you prefer a spicier dip, increase the amount of cayenne pepper or add a diced jalapeño. This dip can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven or microwave before serving.
