Description

Indulge in the rich, buttery flavors of Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet, a quick and easy weeknight meal that’s perfect for busy families.

Ingredients

– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 1 medium onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup chicken broth

– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium-high heat.

2. Add the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

4. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened, about 3-5 minutes.

5. Stir in the paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper and cook for 1 minute.

6. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.

7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

8. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

10. Serve the Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet hot, over steamed rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can use ghee instead of butter. Adjust the spices to your desired level of heat. Leftover skillet can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently on the stovetop.
