Description

This Thanksgiving Cheese Ball is a classic, crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s easy to make and packed with savory, creamy flavor. Rolled in festive toppings, it’s the perfect addition to any holiday gathering.

Ingredients

– 16 oz cream cheese, softened

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup chopped green onions

– 2 tbsp dried parsley

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp onion powder

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

2. 2. Scoop the cheese mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball.

3. 3. Refrigerate the cheese ball for at least 1 hour to firm up.

4. 4. Remove the cheese ball from the fridge and roll it in the chopped nuts, pressing gently to adhere.

5. 5. Serve the Thanksgiving Cheese Ball with crackers, sliced baguette, and fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a festive touch, you can also roll the cheese ball in a mixture of chopped pecans and dried cranberries. The cheese ball can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge until ready to serve.
