Description

This Thanksgiving Turkey Cheese Ball is a delicious and easy-to-make holiday appetizer that’s sure to impress your guests. Packed with creamy cheese, savory herbs, and festive turkey-shaped crackers, it’s the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving spread.


Ingredients

– 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup chopped pecans

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 1 cup turkey-shaped crackers

– 1/4 cup dried cranberries


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pecans, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

3. Scoop the cheese mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball, forming it into the shape of a turkey.

4. Wrap the plastic wrap around the cheese ball and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

5. Unwrap the cheese ball and place it on a serving plate. Arrange the turkey-shaped crackers around the base of the cheese ball, pressing them gently into the sides.

6. Sprinkle the dried cranberries over the top of the cheese ball.

7. Serve chilled with additional crackers, vegetables, or bread for dipping.

Notes

For a more festive presentation, you can also decorate the cheese ball with fresh rosemary sprigs, thyme, or additional cranberries. This cheese ball can be made up to 3 days in advance, just be sure to keep it refrigerated until ready to serve.
