Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
