Ingredients

– 1 small seedless watermelon, cut into 1/2-inch thick fry shapes

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp chili powder

– 1/2 tsp garlic powder

– 1/4 tsp salt

– 1 cup sour cream

– Zest and juice of 1 lime

– 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, toss the watermelon fries with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt until well coated.

3. Arrange the watermelon fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the fries are lightly browned and crispy.

5. In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, lime zest, lime juice, and cilantro to make the lime crema.

These watermelon fries are best enjoyed right away, but any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
