Description
This 3-Ingredient Mac and Cheese is Grandma’s classic recipe that’s ready in just 10 minutes! With a creamy, cheesy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta, it’s the ultimate comfort food.
Ingredients
– 8 ounces elbow macaroni
– 2 cups whole milk
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 7-9 minutes.
2. Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot. Pour in the milk and sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir constantly over medium heat until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Serve the 3-Ingredient Mac and Cheese hot, garnished with a sprinkle of extra cheddar cheese or chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic powder, onion powder, or dry mustard to the sauce. Leftover mac and cheese can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and reheated gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
