Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of sweet and savory with this Apple & Goat Cheese Croissant Sandwich. Flaky, buttery croissants are filled with creamy goat cheese and thinly sliced crisp apples for a delightful breakfast or brunch treat.

Ingredients

– 4 croissants, split in half

– 4 ounces soft goat cheese

– 2 medium apples, cored and thinly sliced

– 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves

– 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Spread about 1 ounce of goat cheese onto the bottom half of each croissant.

3. Arrange the apple slices on top of the goat cheese, overlapping slightly.

4. Sprinkle the fresh thyme leaves over the apple slices.

5. Drizzle a small amount of honey over the apples, if desired.

6. Place the croissant sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

7. Remove from the oven and serve the Apple & Goat Cheese Croissant Sandwiches warm.

Notes

For a more savory option, you can omit the honey. The croissant sandwiches can also be served at room temperature.
