Description
This classic BLT Pasta Salad is a delicious and refreshing summer dish that combines the flavors of crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, and tender pasta. It’s quick and easy to make, making it the perfect side for barbecues, picnics, and potlucks.
Ingredients
– 12 ounces fusilli or rotini pasta
– 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
– 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool completely.
2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and cooled pasta, crumbled bacon, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped romaine lettuce.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
4. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to coat.
5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
This BLT Pasta Salad can be made in advance and refrigerated for up to 3 days. The dressing can be adjusted to your taste preferences. For a heartier meal, you can add grilled chicken or shrimp.
