Description
Broccoli Caesar Pasta is a creamy, protein-packed pasta dish that’s ready in just 20 minutes. This delightful twist on a classic Caesar salad combines tender broccoli florets and al dente pasta in a rich, Caesar-inspired sauce.
Ingredients
– 8 ounces penne pasta
– 2 cups broccoli florets
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
3. Add the cooked penne to the skillet with the broccoli and garlic. Pour in the Caesar dressing and toss to coat everything evenly.
4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs over the pasta, and gently toss to combine.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve the Broccoli Caesar Pasta warm, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and croutons, if desired.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving. You can also adjust the amount of Caesar dressing to suit your preference.
