Description

Ingredients

– 2 ripe pears, sliced

– 2 tbsp brown sugar

– 1 tbsp unsalted butter

– 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds

– 4 oz. goat cheese, crumbled

– 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

– 1 tsp honey (optional)


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. 2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the pear slices and sprinkle with brown sugar. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pears are caramelized and softened.

3. 3. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

4. 4. Top each toasted crostini with a spoonful of the caramelized pears, a crumble of goat cheese, and a sprinkle of chopped rosemary.

5. 5. Drizzle with honey (optional) and serve immediately.

Notes

For a sweeter touch, you can drizzle a bit of honey over the crostini before serving. The crostini can be prepared in advance and assembled just before serving.
