Ingredients

– 1 pound salmon fillet (skin-on)

– 1 cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried dill

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour to prevent burning.

2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper.

4. Place the salmon skin-side down on the soaked cedar plank.

5. Brush the salmon generously with the olive oil mixture.

6. Place the cedar plank on the grill and close the lid.

7. Grill for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

8. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

9. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, you can experiment with different herbs or add a sprinkle of brown sugar for a sweet glaze. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
