Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, and chives)
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
2. – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. – Add the buttermilk and melted butter, and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
4. – Fold in the cheddar cheese and fresh herbs.
