Description

Ingredients

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

– 1 cup frozen peas, thawed

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup milk

– 2 tablespoons butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.

2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and thawed peas.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, salt, and black pepper until a smooth batter forms.

4. Spoon the batter into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.

5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and cooked through.

6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

These bites can be made ahead and reheated in the oven before serving. They also freeze well for up to 2 months.
