Buttery, flaky crescent rolls filled with a sweet-tart cranberry and creamy cream cheese mixture – the ultimate holiday or anytime appetizer!

Ingredients

– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped

– 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.

3. – Fold in the chopped cranberries.

4. – Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.

5. – Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cranberry cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.

6. – Roll up the triangles, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point.

7. – Place the filled crescent rolls, seam-side down, on the prepared baking sheet.

8. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crescents are golden brown.

9. – Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

– For a more festive look, brush the tops of the baked crescent bites with a bit of melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar.

– These can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen until ready to bake.
