Description

Indulge in restaurant-quality Creamy Tuscan Butter Shrimp, made with tender shrimp in a rich, garlic-infused cream sauce. This 20-minute recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or elegant dinner parties.

Ingredients

– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 1 teaspoon lemon juice

– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

– Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the shrimp and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp start to turn pink.

3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

4. Reduce heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.

6. Serve the Creamy Tuscan Butter Shrimp immediately, over pasta or with crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

– For a more decadent dish, use double the amount of butter.

– Substitute regular tomatoes or roasted red peppers if you don’t have sun-dried tomatoes.

– Garnish with additional parsley or lemon wedges for extra flavor and presentation.
