Description

Tender, succulent scallops cooked in a rich and flavorful garlic herb butter sauce. This quick and easy seafood recipe is the perfect indulgence for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 pound sea scallops, patted dry

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

– 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.

3. Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they develop a golden-brown sear.

4. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.

5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

6. Stir in the chopped parsley and thyme, and the lemon juice. Cook for 1 minute more.

7. Return the seared scallops to the skillet and gently toss to coat them in the garlic herb butter sauce.

8. Serve the Garlic Herb Butter Scallops immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality scallops. Be careful not to overcrowd the skillet when searing the scallops. Serve with your favorite sides, such as risotto, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
