Ingredients
– 3 lbs Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
– 8 cloves garlic, peeled
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup warm milk
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. 1. In a large pot, cover the cubed potatoes with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
2. 2. Add the peeled garlic cloves to the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
3. 3. Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot. Mash the potatoes and garlic together using a potato masher or ricer.

Notes
