Ingredients
– 1 pound fresh salmon fillets
– 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup mayonnaise
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 4 whole wheat burger buns
– Lettuce, avocado, and tomato for toppings
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, finely chop the salmon and combine it with breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
5. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
6. Assemble the burgers with toppings of your choice and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add some cayenne pepper to the salmon mixture. Leftover patties can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
