Description

Pigs in a Quilt are a fun and easy appetizer that combines savory sausages with flaky pastry. Perfect for parties, game days, or a quick snack!


Ingredients

– 1 pound cocktail sausages

– 2 cans (8 ounces each) crescent roll dough

– 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

– 1 egg (for egg wash)

– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

3. Place a cocktail sausage at the wide end of each triangle.

4. Roll the dough around the sausage, starting from the wide end.

5. Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the dough. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

8. Serve warm with mustard or your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
