Potato Chip Cookies are a delightful treat that combines the sweetness of cookies with the salty crunch of potato chips. Perfect for snack time or dessert!
Ingredients
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup brown sugar, packed
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup crushed potato chips
– 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the butter mixture.
5. Fold in the crushed potato chips and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a twist, try adding nuts or using different types of chips. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
