Ingredients
– 1 pound salmon fillets, cut into 4 pieces
– 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Set aside.
3. Arrange the salmon fillets and asparagus spears on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus, making sure to evenly coat everything.
5. Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
6. Remove from the oven and squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the top.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh lemon wedges if desired.
